About Brake

Brake is a road safety charity and we exist for a simple reason - because every 30 seconds someone, somewhere in the world, is killed in a road crash.

We believe that the misery of road deaths and injuries, and the pollution of our planet by vehicles, is a shameful epidemic that must end. Brake works tirelessly to stop the carnage and support the victims.

How you can help

As a small national charity, with little government funding, Brake relies heavily on donations to help us fund our work.

Would you consider donating £2.00 a month to help us prevent future road death and injury and offer support to those bereaved and injured in road crashes? For the price of a cup of coffee a week, you could help us save lives!
